Ribbon & Return collects mechanical typewriters and the few accompanying pieces that make sense for each one. Pica and elite typefaces, carriage widths and spool diameters are presented as practical differences. The collection is not a shelf of machines described only by their colour.
A writing set, not a guessing game
The writing-set builder starts with the sheet width and selected machine. It assigns a ribbon with the appropriate spool diameter and offers the fitted case only with the portable model it was shaped for. A chosen typewriter and its supplies can then be reviewed as separate, clearly priced lines.
